Macmillan Coffee Morning

Staff at Fleetwood High School have been busy baking, buying and eating cakes in the last few days.

Lemon cakes, cup cakes, Victoria sandwiches and flap jacks were all whipped up for free and consumed at a cost, as teachers and support staff raised money during Friday's coffee break.  This was all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care, one of the worthy charities and causes which the school endeavours to support.

Headteacher's Personal Assistant, Mrs Cronshaw, who organises the event, says, "This is one of the three national charity events our staff and children support this term.  We also support Breast Cancer Care through 'Wear It Pink' day, and the BBC's Children In Need appeal.  Alongside this, each of our year groups also raise money for chosen charities."
