Homework is a very important part of student life at Fleetwood High School. All students are issued with a planner which they are expected to keep in the breast pocket of their blazer at all times, and in which they keep a log of all homework given. This planner acts as a major communication between home and school, and both parents and Team Tutors are asked to view and sign it every week.

In Years Seven to Nine, students are expected to complete homework in order to develop their skills and acquire further knowledge. In Years Ten and Eleven, subject specific homework will be set for all courses studied. This will be linked to the learner’s timetable and be based on both the requirements of the course studied and the progression of the learner.

We are also a developing range of exciting projects available for independent study in the school's Learning Resource Centre. These are especially targeted at out 'Most Able' students in order to develop a broader and richer understanding of topics studied but all students are welcome to have a go if they would like an extra challenge!
